Interview With A College Vampire
My college capstone. I wrote the script for the video for a class way back in early 2021. As time went on and I had to decide what to use for my capstone I kept coming back to the script and adding jokes so much that eventually it became a no brainer. After about a year sitting on it, I was finally able to release it this last Halloween.
Dream Steam Mop Commercial
A mock commercial I co created for a Directing class. We were to pick a voice actor to work with and create a commercial around one of their readings of the add. With my eager encouragement, we decided to go a comedic route my juxtaposing the very light hearted ad read with the disposal of VERY handsome corpse if I do say so myself.
VR Performance Capture Experiments
I am a huge nerd and one of my biggest obsessions in Virtual Reality. I own a set up where I am able to fully track the movements of my body from things like walking around my room all the way down to “freakin” finger tracking. With this though I wanted to try and see how I could use it for film. Here I’ve included some of my basic test runs with vr performance capture and bringing into reality by acting with myself both physically and digitally.
AI and Animation Experiments
Now I am certainly not an animator and I can just barely scratch the surface of drawing. But with the growth of AI and deep learning programs, I wanted to see what I could create. Using techniques I learned from Joel Haver I learned on YouTube, I was able to create so basic “animated” videos. To explain briefly, it’s basically motion capture where I recorded a video of me in real life acting then for one frame drew over myself. The program will then go through each frame and adapt the drawing to match the performance captured.
